My dentist is not listed. How do I get them added?

Our directory is built from the national NPI registry, so nearly every licensed dentist in the United States should already be here. Try their full first and last name, since search matches names from the beginning of each word, and check the state selector if one is set. If they are genuinely missing, send us their name and practice through the Get Listed form on the Contact page and our team reviews every request.

Why a dentist can be missing

  • They are listed under a different name: a maiden name, a middle name, or a nickname on the license.
  • They practice in a different state than the one selected in search.
  • Their NPI record is very new. The federal registry publishes weekly and we load those changes daily.
  • They are not a dentist in the registry’s terms, for example a hygienist or a denturist.

How to request a listing

Use the Get Listed form with the dentist’s full name, practice name, and city. A person reviews every request, usually within a few days, and we reply to the email you give us.
